01What an affiliate link is
Some "View platform" and "Read review" links are referral links. If you sign up through one and start investing, the platform may pay me a one-off commission — at no extra cost to you. You don't pay more, and in many cases you get the same sign-up bonus you'd get going direct.
02What it never changes
- The numbers. Every return shown is from my own capital, calculated the same way regardless of whether a platform pays me.
- The rankings. The comparison table is never ordered by affiliate payout. Platforms I've exited stay listed, including ones that pay well.
- What I hold. I don't add a platform because it has a referral programme, and I don't soften honest criticism because it does.
03Why I use them at all
Affiliate commissions are what keep this a free, ad-free, independent site instead of one stuffed with display ads or paid "sponsored reviews." I'd rather be paid by platforms I already use and recommend than by an ad network that doesn't care what you read. If that ever starts bending what I write, the model has failed and I'll change it.
04Not investment advice
This site is a personal record, not financial advice. P2P lending puts your capital at risk and is not covered by deposit-guarantee schemes. Past returns — mine or anyone's — don't predict future ones. Do your own due diligence, and only invest what you can afford to lose.
